Our CEO, Ese Oguma has been shortlisted as one of the awardees at the ‘Eko Youth Event’ for his contribution and exemplary performance in sports taking place tomorrow, August 26th, 2021 at the Ebonylife Place, Victoria Island.

The ‘Eko Youth Event’ is organized by The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture and EbonyLife Place in partnership with The Future Project Africa to celebrate young Nigerian leaders of today and tomorrow and facilitate a forum for them to exchange ideas, concepts that address local needs and global issues.

As part of the celebration, an award ceremony has been scheduled to recognize and celebrate 5 select youths across leadership, entrepreneurship, sports, content creation, and fashion. It’s with great pleasure to say that Ese Oguma who has been resilient over the last 5 years in the promotion of Track and Field in Nigeria will be part of the 5.

Reacting to this, Oguma says he is beyond grateful to be recognized.

“When I got the mail, I was startled because I didn’t see it coming at all. I was a nominee for Prize in Sports at the 2019 Future Awards Africa and a winner at the 25 under 25 Award for being the Most Innovative Sports Entrepreneur Under the age of 25 and here I am in 2021 being recognized for my efforts. I’m beyond grateful.

“The fact that I was nominated by TFAA in 2019 made a significant boost in my career and the way I did things because it showed that all I was doing was being noticed by people that matter and this again has shown that the sky isn’t the limit for where God intends to take me.”

Ese Oguma was the winner of the 25 Under 25 for the Most Innovative Sports Entrepreneur in Nigeria Under 25

This event is designed for a physical & virtual audience and will feature notable young leaders in various fields, press and key stakeholders.
