Bayelsa’s flag shines bright in Bahrain: St. Jude’s Girls bring home medals for Nigeria

St. Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Yenagoa, Bayelsa state at the International School Sports Federation (ISSF) Athletics Competition in Bahrain. Representing Nigeria, the young athletes from Bayelsa State captivated audiences and raised the nation’s pride with their skill, in six sporting events.

The Nigerian delegation, comprised solely of athletes from St. Jude’s Girls, demonstrated the strength and potential of Bayelsa’s sports development, securing three well deserved medals a gold and two silvers. Their victory included a silver in the 3×3 Girls Basketball game, these bright young stars. With a lineup of twelve determined competitors, they left a lasting impact at the ISSF event, reinforcing Nigeria’s standing in international school sports.
