Texas Tech sophomore, Rosemary Chukwuma earlier this evening clocked a dazzling Personal Best and World Lead of 7.11s to win her semifinal Of the 60m semifinal.
The relay Gold medalist from the Commonwealth Games went on to show her time wasn’t a fluke as she clocked 7.13s in the final.
Last season Rosemary was the fastest Nigerian woman in the 100m under all conditions clocking 10.88s and she set a 200m PB of 22.44s.
Apart from being a part of the Gold medal squad at the CommonwealthGames, last season, , she was Big 12 Championships 60m winner, finalist at the NCAA Outdoor Championships as well as a Silver medalist at the Nigerian Championships.
