SADE OLATOYE SETS NEW NIGERIAN RECORD, THROWING HER WAY TO BECOMING THE FIFTH BEST WEIGHT THROWER IN HISTORY
The African champion sets the bar higher once more as she propels her way to becoming the fifth best female weight thrower in history.
Her previous best which was 24.46m went down the drain as she had a very good series hauling over the 24m thrice ultimately hitting the big one, a new PR of 25.32m in the fifth and final round.
As versatile as she’s proven, to be,she won the hammer and discuss throw at the 2022 African championships in Mauritius and has been making her presence known at the global stage.
Going over the 24m mark thrice has set the ball rolling for her this season confirming that she’s been putting in the work and it’s already yielding fruits. And what’s more? It’s still in the indoor season. We can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeves come outdoors.
