Tima Godbless delivers NCAA bronze medal

Tima Godbless is on fire, the LSU speedster stormed to a bronze medal in the women’s 100m final at the 2025 NCAA Championships, clocking 11.18s (-1.4) in a gritty race to edge out Anthaya Charlton by just 0.006s. It was a powerful finish to a campaign that saw her blaze to a wind aided 10.91s (+2.2) in the heats the fourth fastest time of all qualifiers marking her as a serious contender all season long.

But her brilliance doesn’t stop there. Tima has been cooking in the 200m too, showing scary consistency with times of 22.80s, 22.68s, and a brilliant PB of 22.55s (-0.3). She’s not just fast she’s versatile, locked in, and ready. With both the 100m and 200m World Championships standards now secured, she becomes one of the few Nigerian athletes to qualify for both sprint events heading into Tokyo 2025.
