Tobi Amusan makes it a back to back Diamond League win in Zurich

Reigning world champion and world record holder Tobi Amusan raced to a brilliant 12.29s beating an impressive line up of world class hurdlers including reigning Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, former world champion Nia Ali and reigning world silver medallist Brittany Anderson.

She broke a long standing 22yr old meeting record of 12.39s held by Gail Devers in the process.

USA’s Tia Jones who had an early lead finished strongly for second spot in 12.40s while Jamaica’s Brittany Anderson took 3rd clocking 12.42s.
Olympic champion and Tobi’s main competitor Jasmine Camacho-Quinn never got going as she finished fourth in 12.49s.

Her win in Zurich makes it a second Diamond league title for her in a row and the 12.29s is the third fastest time she’s ever run in her career further backing up her performances in Eugene.

What a way to cap off the season.
The world record holder is the reigning world champion, Commonwealth champion, African champion and now the diamond league winner.
