Meet Lucy Ejike
Lucy Ejike is a Nigerian Paralympic powerlifter. She has represented the nation at five consecutive Paralympic Games from 2000 in Sydney through to 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. She has won medals at each, three gold and two silver.
Interestingly, she was the flag bearer of Team Nigeria at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro
She clinched a silver medal at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in the women’s lightweight category.
In a build up to the Tokyo Games this year, Lucy competed at the 2021 Manchester World Championships where she won the Gold
She is looking forward to defend her title and set another World Record
