Justina Eyakpobeyan has emerged as the first finalist for Team Nigeria, confidently securing her spot in the women’s 100m final at the World Athletics Junior Championships in Lima. The Nigerian sprinter delivered a strong performance, finishing second in Semifinal 2 with an impressive time of 11.56s earning her a direct qualification (‘Q’) into the finals.
As a freshman at the University of Southern California (USC), Eyakpobeyan is determined to bring home a medal from this prestigious event.
